“Peace and tranquility.”
It was a bit out in the sticks, but we found it using satellite navigation. Narrow roads, single‑track and rough in spots had to be tackled, yet the hosts greeted us and gave us almost everything we needed to know. The accommodation was a static mobile home, nicely furnished and well equipped, though towels weren't provided at first; we asked and they brought some in a very short time. The property is a smallholding with its own shop selling all the basics, licensed to sell alcohol, and offering locally brewed beer, cider, and wines. Freshly baked bread and plenty of meat were available to take home. The accommodation smelled a little damp when we first entered, but that vanished once the place warmed up. Beautiful views to the south and west, and in the evening a fantastic sunset over the West Coast of Wales. The only drawback was the remote location, a long way from everything else.
