It was okay, but it was also okay.

Roaches, dirty towels and washcloths, stained mattresses, a non‑working smoke detector, a chipped tub and shower, missing vanity trim, a large hole in the bathroom door casing that looked like termite damage, and a strong old closet smell made the stay unbearable.

The staff is fantastic—truly the nicest people I’ve ever met at a hotel.

The place smelled dirty. Everything was bad.

The man running the place was easy‑going and didn’t bother us. The door lock was a little confusing, but the guy stayed outside and walked me through it.
