The room had a lovely traditional style but the view from the window was disappointing; it was small yet cozy. The hallway at the entrance was great for stowing luggage and other items, and you could leave your bags before check‑in without charge. The only downside was that on the checkout day this was the only place in the whole trip that charged a hefty fee for each bag left after the checkout time.

Close to the train station and feels like authentic Japanese housing! The staff are always ready to help and always nice. The old toilet and the bed on the floor were a bit hard for the first night, and I had to be very careful with the steps.

I stayed there for the first time at a traditional ryokan, and it’s situated right in the heart of a quiet residential district. The peace, the stunning room architecture, and the inner courtyard left me mesmerised. I had everything I could wish for, but the stay was too brief to try any of the extra services. I’ll definitely recommend it!

The hotel isn’t close to the attractions. The pictures shown on the booking site don’t match the actual place (I didn’t see any garden). The room was small, there was no room service or towel change, and the bathroom lacked power outlets. The window let in too much light even at night. The facilities were lacking.
