I think the stay was generally successful. The room was quite spacious, the bathroom was renovated, and the breakfast offered a good variety of hot items. However, the check‑out time of 10 am felt too early for a hotel standard, especially since breakfast was also served until 10 am. There was no 24‑hour reception, and the room lacked an electric kettle even though the description mentioned one; the staff treated the capsule coffee machine as a substitute, but after an intervention the kettle was eventually brought to the room. The room’s furnishings were old and the cleaning was poor, and the bathroom had only a small amount of toilet paper. The hotel allows parking reservations with a specific letter or number, but on the penultimate day my assigned spot was taken by another car. After reporting it at reception, I was directed to a farther spot. The reception staff made no effort to find out who had taken the spot, claiming the camera “doesn’t see” that part of the parking lot, and they didn’t check at registration whether the car in the spot belonged to another guest or even leave a note on the windshield. In Hřensko, free parking is impossible; space is very limited, so a parking spot is priceless.
