The rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool was huge, and the beach was close by, but the best part was the friendly, helpful staff.

The family hotel was really cool. We were there off‑season, so we hardly saw any other guests. The room was super clean and the bathroom was spacious. The AC worked great and there was a floor fan. The beach was within walking distance, and a small market with food was nearby. It’s perfect for passive relaxation and worth the money. We might have booked off‑season, so as the listing said there was no breakfast, but there is a coffee shop on the first floor next to the reception with very reasonable prices. There were also serious internet problems island‑wide; it could be down all day or for a few hours because of maintenance.

I got to the hotel late at night, and for reasons I don’t know, the staff gave my room key to a taxi driver. He then kept my luggage and followed me into my room. The staff left me alone with him, and he wouldn’t leave. The situation got worse and he physically attacked me. I tried to stay calm and not make it worse so he would leave quickly. He stayed outside the hotel, apparently watching me, for the rest of the night. I think this could have been avoided if the staff had handled my luggage and kept me safe instead of letting an unknown third party into my room. Also, my room was on the second floor and was extremely noisy early in the morning, so I couldn’t sleep. When I asked about the pool, I was given vague directions and no towels. Because of the safety issues and the overall experience, I had originally booked two nights but left after one. I told the staff, they said nothing, but they made me pay in full plus credit card taxes. 🤷🏼♀️

Wonderful stay with a very friendly family. Clean, cozy home and warm hosts who gave us useful tips about the area. Very attentive and helpful – will gladly return!
