The flat was huge – we could spread out without feeling cramped, which was great. The only downside was the lack of air‑conditioning; the night got a bit sticky and could've been more comfortable. All in all, it was a solid place to stay.

The spot in town was spot‑on: a supermarket and a handful of restaurants just a short walk away, and the village itself is perfect for hiking, boat trips and swimming. The hosts were super friendly and made us feel at home. The only gripe was the blazing afternoon sun – nothing we could control.

We chose Sankt Ulrich am Pillersee as a break on our drive from Italy and ended up staying five nights. The hosts were warm and helpful, the apartment was big and well equipped, and the surrounding nature is simply stunning. We grabbed the Familien Momente Card (formerly the Pillerseetal Card) for four days, which gave us big discounts on local attractions and let us revisit them as we liked. No complaints – we left completely satisfied.
