The lift is practically next door, so getting onto the Obertauern run was a breeze. The only hiccup was that the breakfast room shuts down in the evenings, so we had to eat our pre‑purchased snacks in the room—no table or chairs, just a quick grab‑and‑go.

The rooms were pretty, spotless, and the breakfast spread was generous. The downstairs sauna with infrared cabin, showers, and a chill area was a nice touch, and the ski lift was just a short walk away.

The coffee was top‑notch and the egg dishes were decent, but the rest of the breakfast left a lot to be desired—especially the fruit salad and veggies, which could have been fresher.

We had a spacious room with comfy beds, good heating, and it was clean and quiet. It’s close to the slopes, rental shops, and restaurants, and the staff were very helpful. The downside? It’s pricey for just a room and breakfast, and there’s no kettle in the room—tea and coffee are only available at the breakfast room between 8‑10 am, which is locked outside those hours.
