The location is oddly charming and pleasant, and the restaurant is nicely decorated. The breakfast was a disaster: pastries were left outside the door overnight, so they were from the previous day, all dry, with no savory items except a sad slice of cheese wrapped in plastic in the fridge (not eaten because it smelled like the fridge), an open bottle of milk, etc. The shutters don’t work, the restaurant terrace light leaks through the curtains, the beds feel a bit hard for us, and the sofa bed is completely broken, impossible to sit on. The maintenance of the facilities is severely lacking and deteriorating. Noise is an issue: you can hear the floor creak as soon as someone walks in the room above. The restaurant doesn’t live up to its rating; the foie gras is “gourmant” but has no accompaniment, so it’s not really “gourmant,” and the choucroute portion is very small.
