We liked the location and the food, but having to pay for a pool umbrella at a 4‑star hotel was absurd – €25 from August 1‑31 and €17.50 from September 1 onward – and a towel cost €5, something I’ve never seen in Italian 4‑star resorts; the reception in Lecce had no answer when I asked if this was standard. We stayed in room 203 on the first floor, and the large air‑conditioning unit on the roof rattled loudly, which was quite disturbing.

The property is beautiful and well‑maintained, yet I’ve never encountered a 4‑star hotel with an empty minibar fridge, especially after traveling so far!

The outdoor pool was exceptional for a hotel, the bedding was comfortable, and the place was unique. Seeing a little fox sit on the outdoor sofas during a quiet moment was a bit surprising and somewhat disturbing.

The pool was great and the staff were very friendly, the room was comfortable, but the breakfast buffet was only average.
