The breakfast, dinner and service from Madalena were fine, yet the rooms had paper cups, the spa rooms were paid separately, old and broken, the air‑conditioning didn’t work properly, there were no cushions on the loungers, the phone in the room was broken so I had to go to reception, and they told me that was normal; the sauna had no water, the Jacuzzi was very dirty, the internet in the rooms was weak, a room had a bottle of water from a previous guest and a pillow with wine or blood stains, the coffee machine in the room had no water, and the bathroom light was faulty.

“Melhorias na utilizacao do spa”

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, but the spa was the reason we chose the hotel and yet there was no physical control of how many people were actually in the space; we found more than eight people at once, and besides the lack of physical control, the spa wasn’t quiet because children were there. These situations left us a little dissatisfied because we wanted to relax in a calm, quiet place without confusion.

The spa and green areas were great, but on a long weekend with full occupancy the bar should have been operating.

“Um aniversário em Ponte da Barca”

The location, the staff’s friendliness, the good breakfast and the spa were all positives; we dined at the hotel one night and chose bacalhau com batatas a murro, which was simply divine. I recommend the 13 wine; we drank the tinto verde. Finally, I will definitely recommend it. The only downside is that, given the price we paid for two nights, we should have had a robe in our room to use at the spa instead of paying for it.

Pequeno almoço bom, o spa é agradável bem como a piscina exterior. Os quartos são bastante espaçosos. Os funcionários apesar de simpáticos podiam ser mais competentes, algumas funcionalidades dos quartos estavam estragadas e encontrámos algum lixo, no SPA o banho turco estava avariado
