Ryokan Kyoraku is centrally located near JR Kyoto Station's north exit, a 7-minute walk away. The ryokan features air-conditioned rooms with LCD TVs and some with attached bathrooms. A cosy lobby with Japanese art overlooks a small garden. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The property is close to Higashi Hongan-ji temple, Kyoto Tower, and many restaurants and shops. A 23:00 curfew applies.

The guesthouse is close to the station and has good bus connections in the area, which is a real relief for those visiting Kyoto for the first time. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and they explain how to use things like the air‑conditioning. There is also a coin laundry and a dryer for washing clothes. All in all, a very nice experience.

The owners’ friendliness is incredible! They explained everything about how the Ryokan works and how to use the Futón with perfect detail. I liked everything.

Friendly staff, always ready to assist. Room was clean and fridge was filled with water bottles. Location was ideal to move around Kyoto since Ryokan Kyoraku is really close to Kyoto Station but also has 3 7-eleven nearby
