The room was spotless and the location was fantastic, but there was no staff between 11 pm and 7 am, and a false fire alarm ruined our night.

This is the best hotel in Amsterdam – super clean, high quality, and the staff are friendly. I’ve stayed at many places, but this one surpasses them all. From the moment you arrive you feel relaxed. The hotel has a rich history, fewer than 15 rooms, a beautiful spa you can use on your own, and it sits on a canal in a very calm area. Everything was top!

The staff were excellent and breakfast was good, though the selection was limited. The only issue was the mattress, which was too soft and bulged in the middle, making it hard to sleep well.
