The bucolic setting. The sauna. The suspended tent made us laugh but it was impossible to sleep at 3. Also the neighbouring tent was noisy until 1 a.m. We missed the shower.

I loved the nature area, the ferry was nearby, and the swimming spot was great. The sauna was ready as soon as I arrived, and they offered free coffee and porridge.

The grounds were quiet and beautiful, and the cooking facilities were good. I really enjoyed cooking over open fires and using the sauna in the woods, but there was no running water, and the drinking water from jerrycans tasted like plastic.

Lugnet and its proximity to nature, plus the friendly host, were highlights, and the old‑style sauna was pleasant. The one toilet was dark, and the beach area wasn’t appealing.
