The room and garden were very well set up. The pool’s depth wasn’t visible, so swimming wasn’t possible. There was music day and night, complicated smells made it hard to relax, and the access path was very difficult.

The views and location were good. The place wasn’t very clean.

Great view, large garden area, very attentive and friendly host. Unflexible about breakfast. No Komode or storage in the room.

This place was dirty, ants and flies everywhere in the cabin, dirty linen, running water wouldn’t work and no drinking water was provided. There didn’t seem to be any other guests, but many young people used the facilities, drank and smoked at the pool while blasting music all the time we were there. We felt uncomfortable and decided to book elsewhere in Kintamani. When we raised all our concerns with the owner he never responded or offered a refund. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend.

Harsh location: the toilets in the rooms were minimal (in ours there was even a fat slime); the bedding looked like it hadn’t been washed after previous guests (the duvets had no pillowcases); staff didn’t speak much English; right before we entered our room a guy sprayed the entire room with toilet air freshener (even on the pillows), after which we had to wait 2–3 hours for the smell to dissipate – apparently this is done to mask the toilet odor; weak Wi‑Fi; in the morning we weren’t offered breakfast, although it was advertised as included (but we didn’t mind, because Kintamani has plenty of good cafés with a view). Still a lot of work to match the Balinese quality of heavenly hotels.
