“Bad experience with the property and booking.com”

Almost nobody comes out of this stay in a good light (Casa Teodora or ). On arrival, we were told our booking was cancelled, even though I received a confirmation saying we had not cancelled, while I was at the reception desk. The receptionist showed me their system, which said we were cancelled and said the cancellation came . To be fair, they found us a place, but with a group of seven people, the property was suboptimal (one of us had to sleep in a hallway) and a good distance away. It also meant we had to sort out our baggage transfer the following morning. The next day, I got an email saying our booking was cancelled. I contacted , but I still haven't received an explanation of what happened
