The front desk handled things well. There were a lot of bugs, huge spider webs, and overall a questionable level of cleanliness. The bathroom door knob seemed broken; I couldn’t open it from the inside and felt trapped.

I stayed for a business trip. The fridge and microwave were handy. Having cold and hot water ready was the best part. The room, toilet, and bath were all spacious. The only downside was that I couldn’t lock the door from outside, and a glass was left behind during cleaning.

I never had to deal with anyone at all, which was great, but the TV only showed one national channel.

The value was solid, but since it’s a gay hotel you have to pick your travel partner carefully. It’s Showa‑retro, and the cleanliness of the plumbing and the room matches the price.
