Great views and location; the en‑suite in our room was a little on the small side. Everything was clean, staff were friendly, and the evening meal and breakfast were good.

The location and atmosphere were great, and the afternoon tea was fantastic; the dinner in the evening was outstanding. I stayed in room 10, which had a slight unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom water.

I loved my room—very clean with a fantastic view of the Devon countryside—and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Dinner was delicious, but I couldn't get any Wi‑Fi in my bedroom, which other guests mentioned too; I needed it for work and privacy, so while I adored the hotel, the lack of internet is a deal‑breaker for me.

The views were beautiful. No WiFi in the bedroom which was not advertised before booking as we would not of stayed here. The bed was very uncomfortable, 2 single pushed together which kept separating and very tired mattress which was so uncomfortable. Because we had 2 dogs we were put in a “dog friendly room” which was tired and basic, compared to the standard of the other rooms
