The lodge is stunning, the ideal spot for a New Forest getaway. It had everything we needed and more, offering a perfect place to unwind, soak in the tranquility, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. It truly felt like a home away from home. The meals at Ember Inn were excellent, and Sharon handled all our communication with kindness and efficiency. We loved every moment of our stay and would definitely return! Leaving such a gorgeous place was the hardest part.

The host’s communication and information were top‑class. The lodge supplied an air fryer, oven, fans, a travel cot, and even a cool bag, which proved handy during the heatwave. We also enjoyed the games and books, and the park, though fully booked, never felt crowded. The lodge sits in a peaceful setting, just a short walk from the park and restaurant, and stepping out the back gate into the New Forest with its horses and ponies was a delightful bonus.

The lodge is beautiful and spotless, with every possible amenity. It sits beside a small lake, where ducks, water lilies, and early‑morning deer roam, creating a very peaceful atmosphere. It’s only 8 miles from Lyndhurst and right next to the New Forest, where ponies and donkeys wander freely. A TV in the double bedroom would have been nice, but that’s just my personal preference.

The lodge was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped, and the bedrooms were light, airy, and featured lovely bedding. Unfortunately, there was no shelter or umbrella on the patio, so we couldn’t sit outside even with the beautiful weather until late afternoon or early evening.

The setting overlooking the fishing lake is idyllic and very peaceful. The owner has anticipated every need, from toys and games to teas and coffees. The lodge is very comfortable, and the balcony offers a stunning view of nature; seeing seven deer from the window on our last morning was amazing! Everything was perfect, though a parasol might be a nice addition.
