Radeka Downunder Underground Motel

“Friendly atmosphere and one-of-a-kind experience!”

Two friends and I enjoyed a great trip to Coober Pedy, thanks in large part to the awesome stay at Radeka. The staff were super friendly and full of useful tips, eager to give us advice and recommendations. We even got to hang out in the TV room while we waited for our room to be ready after arriving at 5:30am on the Greyhound bus, which was a big help for us three young women. Going underground was a blast and definitely a highlight of our Australian adventure!

The location was spot on, the beds were clean and very comfortable, and the reception was friendly and helpful. I’d stay again if not for the showers next to our room. My main issue was the shared facilities: the toilet was fine, but the exposed showers were unacceptable—there was nowhere to store clothes in the shower cubicle. Men might manage, but women need more privacy, which was my main complaint and why I gave it a 5.

“Excellent”

Everything about this place is great, especially the location close to all the major spots in CP. The owner/manager was quietly friendly and helped us a lot to understand the city.
