All the equipment was complete and the everyday items were mostly premium brands. The place was tidy and felt very homely. I wanted to cut fruit but couldn’t find a suitable knife—only a regular dinner knife, which doesn’t cut fruit.

The environment was fairly clean, and there were extension cords and multi‑port adapters available. Before checking in, an email was sent asking you to fill out guest information; on the day you could check in at a tablet by the second‑floor entrance (Chinese was an option), and a video call would give you the access codes for the next few days. Overall, the experience felt good, except the bathroom did have a scent—though not unbearable, it appeared when the room wasn’t in use and didn’t bother me while showering. All in all, a solid place to stay.

Nothing particularly satisfying. The living room might be considered clean and it has a separate makeup area, plus some special supplies. There’s a washing machine and dryer, child‑size dishes and chairs, a stroller, and the conditioner is great. After paying in full, I was told that three days before arrival a mail would explain the check‑in process and another one a day before, but I never received either; I kept asking online but got no reply until I used the outside tablet to fill out the form. They said I could check in on arrival, but that was not the case. The toilet and shower emitted a strong odor, possibly because the drain was blocked; water didn’t drain after showers, so after three days the floor was soaked—really disgusting. The two rooms were separated by a single sliding door, typical Japanese style, and the tatami was on a thin mattress that was too firm for my slightly sensitive skin, causing rashes every night for three days. There was a parking lot nearby, but I couldn’t find a spot next to the building. The surroundings were not as convenient as the photos suggested; we had to drive to International Street because it was too far. The sofa cushions flaked dust when I tapped them. The kitchen had many items and child supplies, but it didn’t feel very clean even though it was organized; we tried to dispose of trash properly. Given the price, quality, environment, and surroundings, I find it hard to accept. I didn’t take photos except for the conditioner, which was actually useful.

The room was nice and spacious, with clear signage in Chinese everywhere. It’s not far from International Street. I can’t get any responses or answers from the host’s messages, and I never received any pre‑check‑in emails or messages.

The space was very large—the first time I’ve stayed in such a big Japanese guesthouse—and there’s a dressing table. The bathroom supplies are of good quality, and there’s a baby stroller and a baby dining set. The non‑stick surface peels, and the bathroom area has a strong odor.
