“Great location and comfortable room”

The place is in a great spot, the room is a good size, and the balcony is lovely. The only issue was a minor one: the egg machine turned off twice while I was cooking.

Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of options. The location is perfect for those who enjoy being close to the chairlifts, gondola, and city centre. The downside is that the hotel sits right next to the main access road to Morzine, so traffic noise is definitely audible.

“Das Hotel hat noch jede Menge Potential. Man muss es halt nutzen.”

The hotel sits right on the main road in Morzine, and when the windows and balcony doors are closed, you hardly hear anything at night. The building feels a bit older both outside and inside, but the interior is clean, including the small room. The bathroom and toilet have been newly renovated, and the furnishings match the style. The balcony is perfect for winding down in the evening. Parking is available either in front of the hotel or on the rear courtyard, provided there are enough spots. The rooms are small; I was alone in a double room, which was okay, but with two people it becomes quite tight. The mattresses are only about 1.80 m long, so I doubt they are 2.00 m. I had to wash the chair and table on the balcony with water and soap (they were sticky and dirty) before I could use them. Breakfast offers only two jam varieties and no scrambled eggs. Overall, the price is very high.
