Wonderful place with polite and helpful staff. The location is fantastic.
“Quiet Central Spot with Friendly Staff”
The hotel sits right in the heart of a quiet neighborhood, so you’re never too far from a good bite or a quick stroll. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was solid for the price. The room’s retro vibe—think solid wood furniture—was well kept, and the AC and mini‑fridge worked fine. Parking is on the street, free after 5 pm on weekends.
“Charming but Mattress Needs Work”
The hotel isn’t new, but it has a certain charm for those who appreciate a unique atmosphere. The mattress needs an upgrade—it’s too soft for my taste.
“Вечният турист и екскурзиант.Габрово.”
The location relative to the train station and main sights is good. The high stairs, lack of an elevator, and the unstable railings are not suitable for older people. Another thing I didn’t like was the lobby bar being non‑operational all day; it turns out the lobby bar only works during breakfast hours.
“Great Value, Quiet Location, but Old‑School Bathroom”
I loved how close everything was—restaurants, shops, the whole city—yet the street was calm. The bed was huge and comfy, and breakfast offered a decent spread of tasty options. Overall, great bang for the buck. The place isn’t exactly modern, but it’s clean and well preserved. The only gripe: the shower isn’t separated from the rest of the bathroom.
