The room was compact yet modern, making clever use of the limited space in the heart of Milan; it was spotless and cozy, with excellent blackout blinds. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and there were plenty of eateries just a short walk away, right in the city center. The only downside was that our door opened directly onto the reception desk, which felt a bit odd and raised concerns about privacy and soundproofing.

The place was truly unique and quirky, with lovely décor and finishing touches. The only drawback was the AC—it wasn’t very powerful, kept cutting out, and the room stayed quite warm.

The location was great, the staff were very nice, the place was clean, and our towels were changed daily; the lobby AC worked well. However, room 5 was an old office on the first floor right next to the outdoor AC units, which you could hear running all the time. Even at the lowest setting the AC didn’t cool the room at all, making it hotter than outside (28 °C by my thermometer). The window faced a garage ramp with a bright neon lamp; blinds made it dark, but with the outside cooler than inside it would have been nice to open the windows at night. It’s classified as a homestay or apartment, so the tax is 9.5 €; there was no kettle or tea.

We were greeted warmly upon arrival by a very friendly receptionist who explained everything in English, since we don’t speak Italian. Room number 3 was beautiful, contemporary, with a comfortable large bed, a decent bathroom (including WC, sink, shower, and bidet) and small bath items plus a hair dryer. The bedside outlets, wardrobe with hangers, and complimentary water bottles were great extras. The hotel is close to the Duomo and Brera, a 7‑minute walk away. The only issue was that our neighbors were noisy at 6:30 am, though that wasn’t the hotel’s fault.
