Close to the beach and the center, but there was no power in the block where my house was at the end of the afternoon; power returned around 8 pm that same day for the whole block, except my house, and the host only left her room the next day to call an electrician. It was a tough night without light or help, and the lack of empathy made it very complicated.

I had a fantastic stay, the location was great and the host was very friendly – everything was perfect. I’m already recommending it to family and friends, and there’s nothing to criticize; everything was flawless 😍

The spot is spot on – right on the main street of Jericoacoara, close to the beach, with a bakery and market right in front, which really saves on food costs. I decided to extend my stay in Jeri for another day, looking for good value, found the apartment on booking, and the host accepted my request the same day, which was great! I left a pair of earrings there and the host was super kind, trying to help with sending them. The apartment matches the listing photos. On the downside, while the value was decent, I wouldn’t recommend it for longer stays because it needs some upgrades to feel more comfortable. The AC doesn’t cool well, the bedroom only has a tiny mirror, the bathroom lacks a shower box (I suggest at least a curtain to keep water from splashing the whole room), the shower itself is weak with very little water, and I wasn’t sure if the toilet was dirty or just had stains at the bottom – either way, it wasn’t pleasant. Finally, I’d advise investing in better bed and bath linens, and a better curtain for the bedroom window.

The location was good, but the apartment had a bad odor, wasn’t clean, and overall felt uncomfortable. There were hidden fees: an extra person cost $50, a toilet clog fee of $200, and a charge of $100 for keeping the A/C on.
