The rooms are spacious and clean, the 24‑hour reception is helpful and very responsive, there’s hot water, and a convenience store just downstairs. It’s a 20‑minute walk from the central square. On my first night I got a room that faced the road, which was extremely noisy and the windows didn’t seal well, making it impossible to sleep even with earplugs. They only had another room available the next day, which was much quieter. It really depends on which room you’re assigned.

“Muito bom”

I liked almost everything – the kitchen, the movie room, the lounge, the paid tours outside, the laundry, and the food (though those two cost extra). The downside is that you have to pay to use the stove, there’s no free coffee, and there was nothing that I feel is essential for travelers to come back, like free walking tours, dance classes, cocktail lessons, bachata, salsa, pagode, tango, or any activity. A bartender at night would have been nice to sell drinks; the setup was there but no one was there.

The bed was very comfortable, but construction next door was annoying. I was unlucky with the boiler – no hot water on the first night.

The room was huge, very clean, with a private balcony, working outlet, Wi‑Fi, a fridge in the room, and amazing bedding and a huge bed – we slept well. The staff were very friendly, and you could buy water and drinks at the front desk for a reasonable price. The breakfast costs an extra 20 soles per person and includes cakes/pastries, a hot drink, and a sugary yogurt; given the overall quality of the place it’s a shame to have such a low‑quality breakfast. There’s no hot‑water pressure in the shower and the sound insulation is poor.
