“Overall had a great experience at the hotel.”
The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. The breakfast buffet was very good. Our room was a suite, spacious but no view of the outside because the windows were too small and high.
The location was great, close to cafés, markets, and just a few meters from Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol, with the metro conveniently nearby; the bed was comfortable. The downside was that water constantly leaked from the bathtub and the glass that protected the floor, making the bathroom a bit awkward, though it was nothing we couldn’t manage.
The location was fantastic, everything within walking distance, and the breakfast was very good but a bit pricey; the staff were excellent and helped with any request. However, the biggest issue was the air conditioner blowing directly onto the bed, making sleep impossible—especially with the 50‑degree heat outside, which left me with bronchitis after returning home, so I’m lowering my score.
“Very clean, wonderful staff, great location.”
We were first‑time visitors to Europe, and this hotel sat right in a walkable spot near every tourist attraction and some excellent eateries. The only hiccup was that our room key kept failing a few times, but the staff were quick to fix it and went above and beyond.
“Modern, clean, quiet and great value for money.”
The room felt freshly renovated—clean, modern, well‑equipped, and cozy, with friendly staff and quiet rooms that had effective air conditioning and comfortable beds. I admit I made a mistake by booking hastily and not checking that Plaza Mayor was actually nearby; the area is a touch dingy and the shop next door is a sex‑toy superstore, which might add some spice for certain guests.
