The host had thought through every detail to make sure the room was warm, stocked with plenty of reading material and refreshments, the bathroom was conveniently right next door, and a good Nepalese restaurant was a short walk away, but the blind at the window could be improved because light wasn’t able to be excluded as well as it could have been.

The location was good and the room was prettily decorated, but there was a mistake in the booking as I thought we would have our own bathroom, yet the facilities were shared; a very unpleasant strong dog odour greeted us upon entering the house, and for a couple we had to climb over each other to get out of the bed.

The spot was spot on for what I needed, and the owner was super friendly and made me feel welcome right away; she even arranged street parking for me. The breakfast was simple but decent enough for my taste, and all in all, I had a good time.
