Well presented but basic. Centre of town location. Off‑street parking. The door key is hard to insert, the TV is tiny with an unadjustable, unnatural aspect ratio and a confusing remote, and there are no hooks for clothes in the shower.

It was easy, clean, and comfortable for a one‑night stay. The floorboards are very creamy in this old building, so you could hear people walking around.

When I stepped into one of Gulgong’s historic hotels, I immediately felt at home thanks to the thoughtful décor, warm colour scheme, and inviting accommodations that created a truly welcoming atmosphere. The only gripe was that the TV could use an upgrade and more programmes.
