The room was well‑appointed with a nice lake view, but the second floor is only reachable by stairs, and the breakfast was grab‑and‑go instead of a hot spread.

The spot was convenient and the balcony offered a lovely view, and the spa tub was nice and large. However, we were very disappointed overall: the hotel is ridiculously overpriced for its shabby, dirty rooms; staff only appears until 10 pm, so midnight problems go unattended; the window AC unit is so loud it wakes you up every time it turns on; the mini‑fridge condenser keeps rattling against the wall; given the revenue they pull in daily, the facilities should look better; and the continental breakfast consists only of prepackaged muffins, milk, apple juice, nutrigrain bars, and cereal.

Being on the beach was a plus, but the stairs and lack of an elevator on one side (something to note when booking) and the terrible breakfast were drawbacks.
