The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was really good. The pool looked nice and clean, although we visited in early spring so it was too cold to swim, but that was still a plus. Nothing to complain about really. If I must say something: the TV seemed to be only cable and no Netflix or anything, but we actually enjoyed a quiet night with our book.

The hotel was spectacular and felt like home from the moment we arrived with a complimentary welcome drink. The staff were fantastic, our room was beautiful, the food and breakfast were stunning, and the whole hotel and grounds were superb. Monkeys peeking through the windows in the morning just topped off the experience, wonderful. The only downside was that we couldn’t stay longer.

The hotel was absolutely charming with a lovely view down to Thesen Island. To get to town and restaurants in the evening it is best to drive for safety, as is common in most of South Africa except in well-lit, busy areas.

The hotel was a wonderful end to our holiday. They could not do enough for us. The views over Knysna were stunning. The room was perfect. The 20 m pool and gym were a great addition. Also the food in the hotel was lovely; you ordered in the morning and they delivered it that day so everything was fresh, a real treat. I will visit again and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you to the whole team at Falcons View Manor.
