Breakfast was fine, and like everywhere in Thailand, the Thai staff were friendly, smiling women who gave their best, but unfortunately they work for non‑Thai owners in Samui; the rooms weren’t categorized properly—pictures show balconies overlooking greenery, yet the rooms are on the heavily trafficked “Bundesstraße” 4169, so even with windows closed you can hear traffic; room 3 had a terrible bed—two single beds laid side‑by‑side with a thin mattress.
