The location is great, there’s parking and a restaurant open at night run by the lodge itself, and breakfast is simple but tasty; the host was very welcoming and gave us great local tour tips, even explaining the condition of dirt roads and alternate routes. The room was small and we couldn’t pay by credit card.

The bedding and bath linens were clean, but the price and the insistence on paying via Pix for the reservation—despite it being stated in the listing—were annoying; the calls and messages were relentless. We stayed two nights, and one of those nights two couples had to share a room, a detail that wasn’t in the booking but only mentioned on site. We only stayed there because we were a group, and for the price there are better hotels in town.
