The location and the nice complex with its own facilities, plus the sea nearby, were good, but after five years of war the utilities are unreliable—when the power went out there was no light in the rooms, no power bank or backup supply, the toilet overflowed and the shower wouldn’t drain because the system needs electricity. The staff acted as if this were normal, which was frustrating.

We spent eleven days there and found the hotel amazing; everything we liked, daily cleaning, the bomb shelter‑parking on the third floor, and a warm welcome that made our stay comfortable. In short, everything was great.

The room was convenient, clean, and had everything needed: shower, fridge, TV, kettle, unlimited tap water. It’s crucial that there’s a shelter/parking nearby, supermarkets close by, and the area is tidy and part of an elite residential complex. The only downside was that the room didn’t have a towel dryer.

The accommodation was wonderful, on a low floor with underground parking.
