The “chata” is a misleading term; it’s a year‑round, super‑equipped house with a fantastic location, isolated from civilization’s noise, surrounded by forest, silence, and a stream’s murmur, a good base for trips to the Great and Little Fatry mountains, though it’s quite far, so a car seems necessary; the hosts are kind and friendly, we were a group of four but it seemed like the space could even fit eight people; the only downside is that the coffee or tea mugs could be larger, and a small sign on the approach road would be helpful.
