DPM Koh Tao Diving Hotel & Bar

What an amazing place! The staff are incredible and the vibe is welcoming—thanks a lot for the fantastic hospitality! If you come to this diving club, you’ll find excellent reception, maintenance, and diving teams. The spot is literally above the beach, after the big climb where the main beach stretch starts. It’s a fifteen‑minute walk from every pub street at the end of the island, and if you do “pub curling” down the island’s beautiful sea at night, you’ll pass all the parties, food stalls, and restaurants, and finally return to the hotel. Sleep in clean, air‑conditioned concrete cabins with bunk beds. There are mixed beds, showers, and toilets in every room. There are also facilities in the lobby with clean cups and “Tami 4” with ice‑cold water 24/7. In short, if you’re coming to Taou and looking for a place to stay and take diving certification courses at a great price with a wonderful team, I highly recommend DPM! Volunteer staff were helpful, but the rooms feel a bit old and there’s no common area with a fridge or hall for guests.

“Great spot - cool to connect & also quiet for sleep”

DPM has a great staff, very kind and is a great spot if you are looking for a hostel near everything but not in the middle of the chaos. It is a hostel where you can actually sleep at night because there is not noise. 4 beds in 1 room is to still meet people but not be overwhelmed or kept up all night by the larger sized hostel rooms. They also have yummy hot free (Thai beignets) idk the name :) offered every morning as well as drinking water. And they have the white cutest puppy ever there :). The windows let the AC out of the slots so you need to be sure to close the curtains to keep the AC in (at least in the room I was in)

“Disgusting”

Nothing to say positively. The bathrooms were appallingly dirty; a dead cockroach was in the shower when I arrived and the shower curtain was covered in mold. Overall, the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years.
