The listing promised a one‑bed flat with air‑conditioning, a balcony, and a spa bath, but the room had no window, no spa, and the air‑con was out of control. We ended up with a cigarette‑smelling, pigeon‑defecating apartment that was filthy, and the first photo was of a different building. The description was a lie and left me feeling unsafe and misled.

I was comfortable in my spacious room with a private shower, and Dave was helpful and kept the smoke from drifting in. The only hiccup was that I couldn't lock the door, so I had to carry my valuables with me to the beach.

We had a great time just a two‑minute walk from the beach, and Dave was chatty and gave us a parking spot and laundry detergent. The bathroom was a bit dirty, especially the sink and shower, and the A/C was broken—something we wish we'd known before arriving.
