“We had a wonderful time at Casa Fontana!”
The house is beautifully renovated, tidy and clean, with nice interior choices and run by friendly people. The village isn’t too touristy or overcrowded, making it a pleasant home base after day trips. The location is gorgeous and close to Riva del Garda, but visiting Dolomite highlights like Alpe di Siusi, Seceda, or Lago di Braies will take about 2 to more than 2 hours one‑way by car, so half the day is spent driving. We didn’t mind much, as we enjoy the scenery from the car and only went north three times. Staying longer let us explore the nearby area and Trentino. Breakfast was delicious. The front access door and lower‑floor reception area are older and could use improvement. Because of the wooden door and the traditional exterior, it was initially hard to find the B&B. The breakfast is tasty, but for longer stays the variety could improve (salami, mortadella, maybe tuna, etc.). The bed was a bit hard for our liking; a softer spare mattress would help.
