Clean but run down. Very rundown. Lift broke down on our last day and we had to carry our bags down 5 floors. No English spoken so difficult to communicate

Niets. De receptioniste was alles behalve vriendelijk. Ze gaf enkel korte antwoorden en deed geen moeite om met ons op een degelijke manier te communiceren. We wilden graag hiken in de Yellow Mountains. Dit kon volgens de receptioniste enkel via een (dure!) tour, geboekt via het hotel. We wilden graag alleen gaan hiken, maar werden verplicht een groepstour te doen.

Le personnel est très accueillant. Elles nous ont bien renseigné sur les activités à faire à Huangshan et nous ont aidé à commander un taxi. /

Bed was nice, the staff was very friendly and helpful with giving us directions as to where restaurants are and how to get to the popular tourist attractions such as the Old Street or how to get to the high speed train station. She even mentioned how much it would cost when going by taxi so we wouldn't get scammed. Optional breakfast was very cheap and you can eat as much as you need for only 10 rmb.

The room was clean and staff were friendly. Despite not speaking English they did their best to communicate and help us. The price was decent. The communal parts of the building are a bit worse for wear, the elevator is not in the best state and the stairwell is indisrepair too. In general everything looks as though it could do with some repair
