It was cool and safe, though it was also comfortable.

There were many people hanging around the parking lot, which felt suspicious, and homeless individuals were loitering or sleeping near the wall; one looked like he was on drugs. We worried someone might try to break into our car, so the motel should consider building a higher wall on the highway side. Homelessness and drug use were a problem.
