The stay was relaxed, transport was excellent, pillows and bed were very comfortable, and the reception was friendly, yet the room only had bedside lamps with no other lights, so the washroom door had to be opened for illumination, and the TV failed for the entire duration.

There was no refrigerator.

The breakfast and check‑in info were good, but the floor in the room was dirty, the shower door wouldn’t close and was filthy, there was a hole in the bathroom door, and the terrace was a mess.

To be perfectly honest I can't think of anything positive to say about this hotel. The bed was uncomfortable.the bathroom needs re-tiling and painting.the room needed completely re-decorating.the grout in the tiles was dirty/signs of mould.there was ants in the room.the breakfast was shocking.bacon/sausages cold.fried eggs just thrown in a dish.on the day of checkout (12-10-26) they turned off all hot water from 8am (checkout was 11am) so unable to get showered or even washed properly.when I complained the receptionist said it would be off for several hours.we were not being picked up till 5pm so asked if we could shower before we left.NO CHANCE.as we had checked out that was it.shocking end to a fairly dismal stay

The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring Vienna and everything is easily reachable by public transport; the breakfast buffet was superb, but the rooms feel a bit dated and a renovation would be welcome.
