The spot was good, close to the spa and the train station. The kitchen gear was awful – no spoon, no fork, no cups, no kettle. The host didn’t respond to emails at all, we never got the Wi‑Fi password, and he didn’t hand us the guest card even after we asked in writing.

The location is good and convenient, especially for a short stay in Bad Schallerbach. The main positive is the location. Better communication and some renovations would greatly improve the stay. The accommodation itself is already somewhat dated. In particular, the bathroom shows clear signs of wear and the age of the furnishings is noticeable. Unfortunately, the communication was disappointing. After booking, which had already been made four months in advance, I first received a friendly general message with all the important information. A week before arrival I wrote to the host again to ask how the check‑in process works and whether it would be possible to send our data digitally beforehand, since we were a bit tight on time at check‑in. I also sent a follow‑up message later, but I received no reply.

The spa is right on the doorstep, which made our mornings a breeze. The room itself was spotless and stocked with everything we could ask for, but the walls are practically paper‑thin, so you hear every little sound.
