Everything was fine: the cleaning was acceptable, the staff were professional and friendly, the buffet breakfast was plentiful, and the superior room wasn’t huge but had a nice, spacious modern bathroom with a fantastic shower. We didn’t use it, but there’s a very convenient covered parking right beneath the hotel. The towels and spa robes aren’t provided, and the four‑star rating feels a bit inflated given the furnishings; it’s more like a 3‑star‑plus.

The location is stunning, the cleanliness is impeccable—like being at home. The family‑run management feels like the genuine Italian innkeepers of old, which are becoming rarer. The food is excellent, honest, well‑crafted, and well‑balanced. I won’t return during the New Year week because the price is too high for me, but it’s truly fantastic.
