“Ein gemütliches Appartement nahe der Altstadt”
The host welcomed me warmly despite language barriers and my late arrival. It was wonderful to sit on the terrace under the leaf canopy, drink coffee, and be petted by the cat. The accommodation was spotless; the kitchen had everything I needed and I cooked there. I didn’t use the washing machine, but it was good to know it was available. Walking to the old town takes fewer minutes, and the bus station is also within walking distance. The only annoyance was that one mattress (in the single room) had a strange smell, so I used the double bed instead, which was fine. At night I could hear noises (clattering), but I couldn’t figure out what they were; it bothered me, though I am sensitive to noise. Thanks to Dragan and his wife for hosting me; I stayed in the ground‑floor apartment.
