The location was the best part because it’s close to the center; they accepted my dog without asking for an extra fee; the girl who received us was kind and helpful. Unfortunately we weren’t told the property was under renovation, so the private parking wasn’t available (our car was left on the street), the restaurant was closed and breakfast was suspended for the same reason. They offered us a courtesy breakfast at the nearest bar, but only coffee was provided. The room was very small and uncomfortable, and even worse, full of dust and didn’t look recently cleaned. I think it was bad luck for us; the hotel seems good but right now it should be closed and the service is poor… what a pity!

We had a room with a view of the lake, which was breathtaking, such an amazing location! The staff were fantastic and happy to assist with anything we needed. The room was clean and larger than expected, which was great, and the village of Barcis is just beautiful. The hotel is in a great location where it's an easy walk to local bars and eateries, or easy to take a leisurely stroll along the lakeside. We needed some extra pillows, and the kettle didn’t work, but the staff were great and attended to our requests right away, even though it was late in the evening when we arrived. Also the room card didn’t work properly at first and the power in the room kept going off, but once we alerted the staff they gave us a replacement card which worked perfectly.

Cleaning service and aperitif and dinner were excellent. The minibar had no water.
