The staff were great, the location brilliant, parking was at the back, and we enjoyed excellent entertainment both nights. Nothing to add.

Located on Blackpool Promenade, the Dutchman Hotel offers stunning seafront views between the South and Central Piers. This family and couples-only hotel features free WiFi, en-suite shower rooms, and flat-screen TVs. The Promenade Bistro serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, while the basement lounge bar hosts cabaret and entertainment. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from Blackpool Tower and Grand Theatre, and 20 minutes from Blackpool Pleasure Beach.

The staff were all lovely and friendly, and the hotel’s location was great. It was very clean, though a bit dated, which didn’t bother us as long as it stayed tidy. We had live music that night even though we had a show booked. The hotel offers extra parking a few minutes away; they’ll escort the driver and give you a permit. It was very quiet because they only take couples and families, so when we arrived at 1 am on Saturday night, no one else was around. The beds were a bit hard and not very comfortable. The sign in front didn’t match the picture; it was peeled off, and we were told it gets changed every few years and was due for a change—something I would have done at the start of the season.

The staff were fantastic, very welcoming and friendly, and extremely helpful. The only downside was the journey home.

Excellent value, a good spot on the promenade, clean, great breakfast, and the owner and staff were friendly. Bus stops and trams were nearby.

The staff were genuinely kind and went out of their way to care for guests, and I couldn’t find any fault at all; I’d definitely recommend this place.
