Some reviewers complain unfairly about the rules, but if you’re not up for the character and can’t follow the house guidelines, that’s on you.

Breakfast was simple but tasty, and the owner was super friendly, even offering to cook for us since there’s no restaurant in the village. The nearest town is a little far and the drive back can be a bit rough. The only downside was the church bells that chime every hour, which can be annoying.

I skipped breakfast because I was on the road early, but the evenings were filled with lively chats with other guests and the host couple, along with beer and snacks. The rooms are simple but the location is fantastic, so I’ll definitely return.
