Breakfast was okay and the property sat right in the Atlantic forest with lots of nature, but it was far from town and the access road was a bumpy dirt track with holes, poor lighting, and little infrastructure in the chalet – it was cold, had few blankets, old sheets and towels, an empty minibar and no water; dining options were limited to a single nearby restaurant, as the inn only offered breakfast.

The spot was quiet, no cell reception, the host was great, isolated from traffic, running water on the property. The only drawback was the single nearby restaurant and the isolation from commercial areas.

Silence, nature, river sounds, distance from the city, room space. I plan to return. My daughter and I loved it.

Mr. Carlos and his wife at reception were excellent. A good place for those wanting to escape the big city, just calmness. The access road to the lodge is terrible, full of holes.
