“Wonderful beach resort, has a real feel-good vibe around the place.”

This Ghana‑owned beach resort is excellent. The staff are friendly, helpful, and solution‑oriented, and they know a lot about local activities and can arrange a driver for you. We took a fantastic boat tour in Elmina, then visited Kakum National Forest and Cape Coast Castle in one day, and there’s also a nice batik dyeing workshop a short walk away. It’s a great base for exploring and then relaxing. The food service can be slow at times; one night, when another large group was present, we waited an hour for our meal and could have been told beforehand to adjust our plans.

The property’s location is perfect for exploring the coast and it’s probably the nicest spot along the shoreline. It’s owned and operated by a European, and the bar/deck offers a beautiful view of the ocean and breakwall. The bungalows are lovely but don’t have immediate beach access or ocean views. The staff are attentive, the food is delicious, and the drink selection is wide. Evening entertainment is charming. The hot‑water switch for the shower was unclear, the fridge in the room is spacious but cold, and the place is easy to find thanks to signs at every turn from the main road. It’s a bit pricey by Ghana standards, but definitely worth it and I would recommend it.
