“Room was gorg, pool area is very bland and bar kept running out of drinks”
The rooms were clean and lovely. The site felt like a construction site, not very welcoming; the bar/food staff were not very helpful, but the doormen were lovely.

Le Méridien N’Fis sits on 5.5 hectares of lush parkland in Marrakech’s Menara district, offering rooms and suites with mountain, garden, park or pool views. At dusk, illuminated Andalusian gardens showcase tinkling fountains and silhouetted coconut trees. The hotel features three world‑class restaurants, a spectacular spa, and proximity to two of Morocco’s premier golf courses.

I was shocked when the electricity went out from midnight until the afternoon; I had to move to another hotel and was still charged for that night, so I think I should get a refund since I didn’t get to use the room. The breakfast service was also disappointing, and with no power most of the food tasted awful.

The only thing that could justify them was that I was a fool who didn’t read reviews. The room didn’t deserve a five‑star rating or the price, and the whole situation was a nightmare. I returned to the hotel at 1 a.m. to find the electricity cut off and everything cold; they told me to go to the fifth floor with a mobile phone. When I asked if the air‑conditioner worked after climbing five flights of stairs, they said no, even though Marrakech was hot and I had a chest problem. They had a notice for customers about a four‑hour power outage, but the reception never mentioned it. I booked and paid through Booking, and no one told me anything. Now I’m writing this review while standing in the dark lobby for an hour, asking the on‑call manager to return my money or talk to me; they say they’re sleeping and can’t do anything until the power comes back. It’s infuriating. A five‑star hotel that only cares about the money? The management doesn’t even apologize in such circumstances. It’s disgusting.

The breakfast spread was impressive with a wide variety of dishes and the service was good. However, the gym and spa were still under construction, and a large group of EuroTyres crowded the breakfast area, making some options less available.

The location was fine, but the hotel was undergoing renovation, with workers everywhere and machines and hammers running even at 9 a.m. on a Sunday. They should have warned guests about the renovations so we could choose another place.
