Comfort House

I really enjoyed my holiday at Comfort House. The cottage has everything you need: plenty of dishes, a hairdryer, an iron, a washing machine. If you need extra dishes, they can provide them. There’s a barbecue available for free use. The view from the house is wonderful, the pool is warm and well‑maintained. Thank you sincerely for a great stay!

The kitchen really tastes good and the price is fair. A friendly girl at the reception and at the bar serves well. The view is very nice. I’ve never seen this before. They deliberately mislead you about the room. On Booking you pick a room with a view of the front and the mountains, but in reality the room faces the back yard with a view of the firewood and the neighbours. It’s intentional, because other reviews show it is a front‑view room. That’s why they take pre‑payment, so you don’t have to share. The owner or manager isn’t friendly to everyone; I never received a greeting. And the bed is awful. It squeaks so badly you can’t even describe it. Trust me, the squeak is audible from the touch. If someone moves in the night, both of us wake up. I didn’t sleep for three nights. That’s why I give a three‑star rating. Traveling 1000 km only to be tricked and tortured by lack of sleep.

Thank you for a fantastic holiday in the picturesque corner of the Carpathians at Comfort House! The food is tasty, portions are generous, the staff is friendly, the pool is warm, and you can sip morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the mountains. We would gladly return again! ❤️

Comfortable, clean, great scenery, tasty food, excellent location, pool, hot tub. The sound insulation between rooms isn’t great; you can hear through the walls.
